2/4 Profile Human Design | Hermit/Opportunist

Get to know the 2/4 profile in human design. In this video you will learn:

  • What profile is and how it can help you

  • The key characteristics of Line 2

  • The key characteristics of Line 4

  • The key characteristics of the 2/4 Profile - The Hermit/Opportunist

Kind of like an Archetype. You don’t need to do much with it, but by simply being aware of it, understanding it and accepting it you can be more compassionate and embrace. These are just natural things you are doing that you want to celebrate more.

- The first number is your conscious number and the one that you will resonate with the most because it relates to your own experience. The way that you see yourself.

- The second number is based on your subconscious design and related to the way other people tend to see you.

- When you first number is smaller than the second it means that you have a Personal Karma, this means that you are here that you life path is about you focusing on the self, you are at yours best when you are feeling in your power, clear about what you want, doing your thing and making sure that you enjoy this lifetime and accomplish your dreams.

Line 2 = The Hermit (Guru)

You have inherit knowledge, naturally gifted at something and your skills and knowledge come easy to you to the point that you can struggle to explain them to others, struggle to see yourself. Instead of looking outside for knowledge your process is very introspective (this is why they call it the hermit). You are prone to withdraw when doing your own thing and don’t want to be disturbed. Your gifts develop when you play and allow yourself to be in the process (i.e. away from social media, answering emails etc)

Line 4 = Opportunist

Natural Networker, naturally good at building connections and building the network of people that they are connected to. Naturally gifted at forming close relationships with people. Not meant to network with strangers, your strength is in networking with the people already in your life. Look out for introductions, mutual friends, referrals, etc. The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your relationships and the best way for you to share your gifts, is to do so with the people around you. Strong emphasis in putting your energy into your tribe.

**Profile 2/4 - The Easy Breezy Genius**

Am I an introvert or an extrovert???

You can struggle to decide if you want to be by yourself and do your own thing or what to be around people!

You can be shy and retiring one minute and then bold and outspoken the next, interacting with the world in a bright and ‘breezy’ manner and then disappear behind closed doors into a self-made cave.

This is because there can be friction between the hermit who wants to remain undisturbed to do their own thing and the Opportunist who wants to serve the tribe. This confusion between do I care about others or just want to focus on my own thing?

Harmony is created by allowing a safe space where you CAN be alone with no judgment and negative connotations i.e. “ I am boring or a loner” and then be selective as to when you show up connect with others rather than feeling like you have to say yes to everything. This way when you do show up, it is energetically correct for you to do so and you will actually give it your all and enjoy it! With no qualms about returning into your hermit cave to work on your things once that moment has passed.

The 4th line is prone to exhaustion (body) so the two lines actually work really well together, because the 2nd line will you make more intentional about where you spend your energy and will encourage you to have alone time. Equally the 4th line will encourage the 2nd line to come out and share their amazing gifts with the community instead of staying in hiding where no one can benefit from their gifts.

Feedback from others is particularly important for this profile because others will see you and your strengths much more clearly than you will see yourself.
